Overview

Beach Ball Synth is an interactive installation that uses play as an interface for making music.  It was a project at IDEO designed for Moogfest 2016.  

Contribution

As part of the core team, I concepted, designed, and executed Beach Ball Synth. I also architected the technical system, building hardware sensors, creating sensor processing to render gestures from beach ball interactions, mapping interactions to musical parameters, composing generative music for the installation, and much more.
